I've worked in Life Sciences since the early 1980's initially as a scientist then in increasingly commercial roles running businesses in Diagnostics, Genomics and Drug Discovery tools across Europe. Although now retired from full time work, I still take on the occasional business challenge. I have a clear view on how genomics and diagnostics can change the way care could be provided, advances that are essential if we are to meet the ever increasing demands on our healthcare system.
I was Deputy Lead Governor from 1 December 2017 to 30 November 2021
I live locally with my wife, and have now become a grandfather for the first time. I love to go sailing in the summer, and skiing in the winter.
