Our performance - March 2015

We had no MRSA and saw more patients than last month. We continue to experience a high volume of emergency admissions and a significant proportion of our beds are being used to care for elderly patients who are delayed transfer of care
  • C.difficile cases this month: 4
  • MRSA cases this month: 0
  • Patients seen in November: 78,217
  • Percentage of patients waiting less than 18 weeks following referral for treatment: 76.4%
  • 8,907 patients treated in the emergency department in January
  • 75.9% of emergency patients treated within four-hours
  • 80.8% of cancer patients seen within 62 days
  • In March the Trust posted a deficit of 1.5m 
  • 77 new nurses around the world are training to become registered nurses at CUH
