About the Rosie birth centre

Rosie birth centre is a new along-side birth centre situated within the Rosie hospital.

Birth centres are based on the social model of care which views birth as a transformative life experience, enhancing the long-term physiological and emotional well-being of women and their families.

Rosie birth centre or home birth are the designated places of birth for all women who are receiving midwife-led care, who have enjoyed a pregnancy without complication and are expecting a normal physiological birth.
