On Sunday 5th July 2015 from 00.00 works will commence in front of The Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre to enable the building of the Addenbrooke’s Clinical Research Centre (ACRC).

As part of this development it will necessitate the suspension of disabled parking and car drop off in the current allocated areas outside the main ATC entrance and the along Keith Day road (back entrance of the hospital).

The programme of build will last for around 18 months.

Vehicles access to the Addenbrooke’s Treatment Centre via Keith Day Road will be suspended. There will be no reinstatement of the vehicle access during this time.

During this time, pedestrian access will not be affected to the main entrance of the ATC. The covered walk from Keith Day Road will still be accessible.

The cycle parking in this location will also be available, although the cycle parking immediately in front of the Treatment Centre (left hand side of the entrance) will be out of use.

Alternative disabled parking, dropping off and pick up points for vehicles and patients include:

  1. N wards entrance;
  2. Access via Car Park C (adjacent to R block)
  3. Rosie Hospital Entrance
  4. Disabled parking adjacent to the Deakin Centre (off of Richard Howe Way)
