Dr Pat Set
Staff Governor

Pat was elected as Staff Governor in July 2017. She believes that faithful feedback from frontline staff to the Board is central to a progressive organisation like Addenbrooke’s. She hopes to contribute to a cultural change where direct feedback is encouraged and valued by those who govern.

Pat has been working at Addenbrooke’s since 1988 and was appointed as a consultant radiologist in 1995. She has many other roles and responsibilities, including with the Clinical School, Health Education East of England and the Royal College of Radiologists. Presently she leads on curriculum development in human factors /generic professional capabilities in the region. Her governor’s role complements this work.

She welcomes and encourages feedback from staff as she moves within the Trust, and looks forward to suggestions from all on how best to capture the voice of the staff representing Cambridge University Hospitals. Her motto is ‘We are everyone and together we can make a difference for our patients’.
